Line Cook/Prep Cook Duties: - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices and seasonings - Assist in the preparation of dishes according to the recipe or instructions provided - Cook food items on the line during service hours - Ensure that all food items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and meet quality standards - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and sanitizing kitchen surfaces - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service Requirements: - Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is preferred, but not required - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about cooking and has a strong work ethic.
