Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 7 years of experience.Job Details• Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit within a hospital setting,• Cares for women through labor, delivery, postpartum, and provides direct newborn care,• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week,• May be required to rotate shifts and areas based on staffing and census needs,• On-call required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,• Current BLS (CPR) certification required,• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and ACLS required within one year of employment,• Minimum of 7 years of RN experience required,• Obstetrics nursing experience required,• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and perform heavy lifting,• Ability to perform effectively in highly stressful situations,Additional Information• Responsibilities include monitoring labor progress, preparing for C-sections and inductions, administering IV medications, and documenting nursing care,• Provides care during labor, post-delivery, and postpartum, including infant care and patient education,• Prepares the delivery room, provides emotional support, and coordinates patient transfers,• Adheres to principles of sterile technique, infection control, and OB department policies,• Reports directly to the New Beginnings Birth Center Manager,
