Technical Business AnalystResponsibilitiesSpecific DutiesMeet with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME) Gather and Confirm Workflows to be support in project via Scope of Work.Generating Business Requirements for Workflows in Requirements WikiCreate text definitions of workflows and their steps.Create workflow diagrams in standardized modeling. (BPMN, UML, State-Transition, etc.)Create a list of proposed UI Screens with project leads that will support all stages of workflow.Meet regularly with stakeholders and SMEs to revise and approve text definitions and diagrams.Generating Functional Requirements in Requirements Wiki for UI Screens according to agreed upon syntax.Define expectations of data sourcesDefine user interaction and functionalityDefine Automation Requirements with Leads that will support Workflows.Meet regularly with UI Designer to hand off completed Functional Requirement to have UI Mocked.Meet regularly with stakeholders to review and approve completed UI Mocks & Functional Requirements.Working with UI Designers, Development Team, and Testing TeamBe available to answer any questions regarding Business expectations for approved UI Screens or Workflow processes.Escalate any questions unable to be answered to the appropriate stake holders and subject matter experts through approved channels.Meet regularly with Development Leads to ensure Functional Requirements and UI Mocks communicate sufficient requirements for development.Meet regularly with Testing Team to ensure requirements and business intent are understood by all testers.Participate in meetings reviewing completed tasks for accuracy to approved Business and Functional RequirementsUpdate any Functional or Business Requirements as requested by the stakeholders or SMEs.Performing requirements analysis.Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.Be able to identify conflicting requirements before approval and propose solutions.Conceptual DutiesEffectively communicating business expectations and plans to cross-functional team members and management.Managing Meeting schedules with stakeholders, SMEs, UI designers, Development Leads.Ensuring Business Requirements and Functional Requirements meet business needs.Working closely with Development Leads and Managerial Staff to ensure requirements are feasible in timeline.Maintaining Traceability of Requirements to business requests.Documenting all meetings conducted.Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.Managing their own tasks and duties, as issued by the business, in Jira.Prioritizing their own tasks based on potentially shifting business needs and requirements.Serving as a liaison between stakeholders, development, testing, and users.Must Have RequirementsA minimum of 5 years experience conducting business analysis for IT Development.A minimum of 3 years in a positions leading a team on successful projects.A minimum of 2 years experience with Jira or a comparable task tracking solution.A minimum of 2 years experience with Confluence or an comparable wiki.Experience with standardized modeling praxis (BPMN, UML, State-Transition, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent documentation and record keeping practices.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.Experience acting as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.Competency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Teams, Whiteboard, Excel, and Word.Nice to Have RequirementsExperience with Data Design or Modeling.Experience with Software Development.Experience with Azure.
