We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.Position DescriptionThe primary duty of the Transportation Business Group (TBG) Environmental Sciences and Planning (ES&P) Business Class Director is to provide strategic leadership and technical direction for environmental sciences and planning services across all TBG market sectors the geographic areas where we perform work.The Director will collaborate with TBG professional services leadership, the market sector leadership, other business class leaders, and other ES&P leadership at the Cross Sector and for the other business groups to drive technical excellence, quality, and growth.Primary Responsibilities• Develop and implement TBG-wide ES&P strategy• Provide technical and quality leadership across projects• Support marketing, business development, and key pursuits• Build and mentor ES&P staff and lead strategic hiring• Promote HDR through industry engagementPreferred QualificationsBachelors and/or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or related field with a strong emphasis in NEPA for transportationStrong client relationship and leadership skillsActive engagement in industry associationsAbility to travel up to 40%QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field A minimum of 10 years of experience in related field Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience Experienced in development and management of diverse teams Works cooperatively with other business class directors, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
