Systems Administrator

Partnered Solutions IT is looking for a motivated Systems Administrator to join our growing team. We are hiring for either a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Systems Administrator depending on your experience, technical expertise, and ability to work independently. A Systems Administrator is responsible for managing the technical aspects of our clients' IT environments. This includes servers, desktops, network infrastructure, mobile devices, printers, cloud services, cybersecurity tools, and other business technology. They are expected to proactively identify and resolve issues, take ownership of problems from start to finish, and provide exceptional customer service while collaborating with coworkers, clients, and vendors. Systems Administrators are analytical problem-solvers who are comfortable troubleshooting complex environments, making professional recommendations to clients and management, documenting their work thoroughly, and occasionally working outside normal business hours to minimize client downtime. Tier 2 Systems Administrator Typically suited for candidates with 2+ years of systems administration experience. Tier 2 administrators are capable of independently handling most day-to-day infrastructure administration and escalated support issues while continuing to grow their technical expertise. Tier 3 Systems Administrator Typically suited for candidates with 5+ years of systems administration experience. Tier 3 administrators serve as senior technical resources, lead complex troubleshooting efforts, assist with project implementation and architecture, mentor junior technicians, and provide technical guidance to both clients and team members. Qualifications Tier 2 2+ years of experience in a systems administration, network administration, or technical support role supporting business environments Demonstrates strong competency with Windows Server, M365 and SharePoint. Good understanding of networking fundamentals and common network protocols Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and cloud technologies Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve most infrastructure and support issues Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Tier 3 5+ years of experience in a systems administration role supporting business-critical environments Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration and Active Directory Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, and business infrastructure Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple technologies Experience leading technical projects, mentoring team members, and providing technical guidance Ability to make strategic technical recommendations to clients and management Preferred Qualifications MSP experience Healthcare/HIPAA experience Microsoft or other relevant technical certifications Project management and technical leadership experience Qualifications for Both Positions Commitment to deadlines and the ability to meet the needs of a 24x7 computing environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills and professional phone etiquette Discipline to document technical work in a clear, comprehensive, and organized manner Self-starter who is proactive, positive, creative, and adaptable Strong team player with the ability to build and maintain cooperative working relationships Willingness to occasionally work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Current and valid driver's license with reliable transportation Willingness to successfully complete a general background check, including local and state criminal history Duration, Hours & Compensation Full-time, in-office position (40–45 hours/week) Tier 2: $60,000–$75,000 annually DOE, paid at an hourly rate (we believe you should be paid for every minute you work!) Tier 3: $75,000–$90,000 annually DOE, paid at an hourly rate (we believe you should be paid for every minute you work!)
