Location: Elkhart, Indiana | 100% OnsiteAbout the Opportunity for a Cash Applications Specialist:Join a collaborative accounting team supporting high-volume cash posting and customer payment processing.Opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to multiple payment platforms and banking procedures.Ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, accuracy, and working cross-functionally with AR and accounting teams.Overview of the Cash Applications Specialist role:Apply customer payments in the ERP system including checks, ACH, wires, and credit cards.Scan physical checks to the bank and support daily cash collection activities.Review and process remittance information while managing customer banking portals.Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, overpayments, and unapplied cash.Assist with month-end close activities and AR reconciliations.Follow SOPs, PCI compliance standards, and banking regulations while supporting continuous process improvement.Preferred Qualifications for the Cash Applications Specialist role:1+ years of administrative, accounts receivable, or cash applications experience; relevant post-secondary education will also be considered.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience working within an ERP system preferred.Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.Salary:$37,000–$46,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
