Job Description The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This role ensures proper water distribution, system efficiency, and overall landscape health.Key Responsibilities:Install and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip systems, valves, and controllersDiagnose and repair leaks, broken lines, faulty valves, and electrical issuesPerform seasonal system startups, adjustments, and winterizationsAdjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and landscape needsConduct system inspections to ensure proper coverage and efficiencyTroubleshoot and repair irrigation controllers and wiringMaintain accurate records of work performed and materials usedCommunicate with clients and team members regarding system performance and recommendationsQualifications:Experience in irrigation installation and repair preferredKnowledge of irrigation systems, controllers, and basic electrical componentsAbility to read site plans and irrigation layoutsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsValid driver's license and clean driving recordAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical laborPreferred Qualifications:Irrigation certification (e.g., IA Certified Irrigation Technician)Backflow certification (a plus)Landscaping or construction experienceCompany DescriptionBlack Eyed Pea is a well-established, family-style restaurant known for its homestyle cooking, welcoming environment, and commitment to exceptional guest service.
