Editor PositionThe Editor is responsible for managing the editorial process of a publication by reviewing, editing, and refining content submitted by writers, ensuring it meets the publication's standards for accuracy, style, and clarity. The Verde Independent is seeking a motivated, community-minded editor to help lead our newsroom in pursuing impactful local journalism. The Verde Independent publishing two days a week will include town government, politics, schools, housing, economic development, environment and health, sports, arts and entertainment Kudos the good life covering Sedona weekly, local institutions, everyday local businesses, people, and places. Candidates invited for an interview will be required to take a copy-editing test. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop is an advantage.
