Job Description At Bulkmatic you are more than just a truck driver. You'll operate pneumatic equipment, manage relationships with customers and be empowered to make the right decisions for your deliveries - All while being part of a team that leads in the dry bulk shipping industry.Home Time:This position does primarily LOCAL work, which means the driver can expect to average 1night on the road every other week. Bulkmatic provides hotel rooms using the CLC program and a per diem for drivers who are on the road.Pay:Drivers at this location can expect to earnUp to $95,000 for the year! Two-thirds of your time will be driving. The rest of the time will be loading, unloading using the pneumatic systems and interacting with customers. Wehave extensive training on our safety procedures and the pneumatic equipment. Job RequirementsBe at least 23 years old to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle interstateMust possess a valid Class A CDL with at least 1-year Tractor Trailer driving experience.Driving Experience should be within the past 10 years; within the past 5 years is preferred.Military driving experience will be considered.Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, andto make entries on reports and recordsBe physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as defined by the FMCSAMust not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulations set forth by the FMCSAMeet all the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job descriptionYou must have a valid CDL Class A license in the State that you reside in or in cases of recent relocation the ability to change license within 30 days.Hazmatendorsement required at certain locations.
