Systems Engineer

Role Overview: The Windows Active Directory Engineer will support and enhance a large-scale enterprise identity environment by managing and securing Active Directory. This role will lead Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration efforts for a key project (Voyager) and work hands-on with AD, Entra ID, and related technologies to ensure efficient user access, strong security controls, and seamless authentication across systems. The engineer will also support ongoing operational needs and drive automation improvements through PowerShell scripting.Key Responsibilities:• Design, implement, and manage a large-scale (10,000+ users) enterprise AD environment• Provision and deprovision users, computers, and security groups.• Manage AD FSMO roles, Group Policy implementation, and AD Sites and Services Design.• Administer Entra ID, ADFS, DNS, and PKI.• Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC), account management, and auditing.• Coordinate with application owners to reset passwords and manage service accounts.• Analyze passwords and generate reports using PowerShell scripts.Required Qualifications:• 3-4 years experience in AD• Advanced knowledge in administering AD in an enterprise environment.• Experience with Enterprise multifactor solutions preferred.• Experience with a ticketing tool (preferably ServiceNow)
