Established (95+ Years in Business!) Premier Company Seeking Plant Manager for Chemical Manufacturing Operations in Hammond, IN! An established, employee-owned chemical manufacturing company headquartered in Hammond, IN with over 95 years in operation is seeking a Plant Manager with 10+ years of industrial Plant Management experience to lead full-scale operations onsite for a facility producing lead oxides, expanders, and specialty chemicals for the global battery industry. This leader will report to the Vice President of North American Operations and partner closely with division leadership to drive productivity, quality, and continuous process improvement while maintaining compliance and strengthening customer and supplier relationships. Offer:Salary range: $150,000-$180,000+ Base Salary, contingent on experiencePerformance-based bonuses401(k) with company matchingProfit sharingPaid time offFully covered medical, dental, and vision health benefits Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent plant operations experience preferred10+ years of management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentProven leadership in an industrial setting with strong operational knowledge of manufacturing processesExpertise in environmental, health, and safety protocols, particularly hazardous materials managementFamiliarity with lead oxide manufacturing is a plus, but not required.ISO 9001 experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and resource planning toolsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to prepare technical reports and deliver presentationsWorking knowledge of plant layouts, blueprints, process flow diagrams, and operational documents such as FMEAs and PPAPsLogical reasoning and the ability to solve a wide variety of practical operational problemsAbility to lift up to 25 lbs and work in high-temperature conditions while wearing a PAPR-style respiratorFlexibility to travel and work outside of normal business hours when required, with consistent and reliable attendance Responsibilities:Coordinate manufacturing schedules, optimize raw materials, and ensure efficient production processes across the facilityMaintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including all state and federal reporting requirementsEnsure IATF compliance is upheld across operations and quality processesDevelop and manage operating budgets while overseeing capital expendituresLead facility-related capital projects and collaborate with cross-functional project teamsBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to support operational goalsSupervise inventory, logistics, and maintenance operations to ensure continuity and reliabilityProvide leadership and decision-making support to production and maintenance teamsMaintain a daily presence on the production floor to drive objectives and team engagementTake on additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by senior leadership Email Your Resume In Word ToChris.Minyon@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
