Our headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia, has an opening for a Web Applications Developer.Job SummaryThe Web Application Developer creates and maintains IPA's suite of applications and supports staff to produce creative, high-impact tools for clients.Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining internal and external web applications. This position will have also the opportunity to participate in new product development efforts. Some very interesting challenges are likely, and the company is looking for someone who relishes the opportunities and demands this setting provides. In this position, you will always be encouraged and expected to contribute ideas to improve the company's technology and products.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and develop functional and appealing web and mobile-friendly applications based on Best Practices, usability, and performanceEnsure the technical feasibility and security of UI/UX designsWork with various development and collaboration tools including Figma, Trello, and GitMaintain graphic standards and branding throughout the application interfaceFollow agile development practices to collaborate with other development team members, product management, and stakeholdersKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesFull stack development experience—TypeScript (React), Python (Django), or similar technologiesAbility to work in Linux and macOS environmentsDetail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-taskSelf-motivated and able to work with little supervisionWork Location (in-office)The role is located in our office in Ashburn, VA, and would suit someone who likes to work collaboratively in an office in a supportive community of developers.Credentials and ExperienceA bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience mentoring or coachingWHY IPA?IPA is the preeminent global benchmarking and consultancy for capital projects.
