Computer Numerical Control Programmer

Responsibilities:- Create and optimize NC programs using Siemens NX for mill-turn machines, 2-axis lathes, and other CNC lathes/mills- Validate NC programs virtually via machine simulation, plus on-machine program validation/optimization- Collaborate with design engineers to enhance manufacturability- Participate in equipment installation, runoff, and production startup activitiesRequirements (reconciled from intake call and posted JD):- 3-5 years of lathe programming experience specifically required; some mill programming experience is fine but the majority must be lathe. (Note: posted JD lists 5 years NC programming/CAM experience - confirm range with HM.)- CNC grinding experience preferred- Experience with aerospace alloys and hardened steel alloys is a plus- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and GD&T- High school diploma or GED required- U.S. citizenship required; must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
