Your impact
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a high-quality ASVAB-related competition program. You will oversee all aspects of the competition, from planning and content creation to team management and delivery. Your expertise in standing up education-focused competitions and your ability to work effectively under tight timelines will be crucial to the success of this initiative.
A day in the life
Develop the overall strategy, structure, and timeline for the ASVAB competition
Recruit and manage a team of subject matter experts and instructional designers to deliver the competition content and program
Oversee the quality and accuracy of the competition material to ensure it meets educational and military standards
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the competition aligns with their requirements and expectations
Monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and make timely decisions to keep the project on track
Analyze competition results and participant feedback to suggest potential future program improvements
Your expertise
5+ years of experience in managing education-focused competitions or programs
Proven track record of standing up teams and delivering high-quality programs under tight timelines
Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
Familiarity with the ASVAB testing process and military education requirements
Passion for creating equal access to data-driven careers and empowering underrepresented communities
Where you are
This role is remote and can be located anywhere that is compatible with EST time zone. We are headquartered in New York City and have office space in Midtown Manhattan.
The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80-$100 per hour. Please note that the shared range is specific to the United States.
This is a contract role with an anticipated hourly requirement of 5-15 hours per week for approximately 6 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
