We are partnering with a leading enterprise organization to hire three (3) Java Full Stack Developers to support the development of advanced, enterprise-scale platforms used in cutting-edge research and data-driven initiatives.This is a high-impact engineering role within a collaborative, forward-thinking team building modern applications that support complex data environments.Location & Schedule:Primarily RemoteOnsite once per month in Worcester, MA (may be short notice)Please note that candidates must be willing to travel at their own expense if not local to WorcesterRole Overview:This is a full stack position with a strong backend focus, working primarily within the Java ecosystem (Java 18). You will contribute to building scalable, enterprise-level applications with complex integrations and high data volume.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and related technologiesBuild and integrate RESTful APIs and support data processing workflows (ETL)Contribute to frontend development as needed (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular)Collaborate across teams on architecture, development, testing, and deploymentParticipate in code reviews and best practice enforcementSupport full application lifecycle management from design to deploymentRequired Qualifications:4+ years of hands-on Java development experience (recent versions strongly preferred)Proven experience in full stack developmentStrong experience with RESTful API developmentSolid understanding of software engineering best practicesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldNice-to-Have Qualifications:Experience working with scientific or data-heavy applicationsExposure to CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.)Experience with Oracle databasesFamiliarity with bioinformatics or scientific platformsExposure to Gene Data Biologics or similar toolsWhat Makes This Role Unique:Opportunity to work on high-impact platforms tied to advanced research and innovationStrong engineering culture focused on collaboration and clean code practicesExposure to enterprise-scale systems and modern tech stacksEngagement Details:Contract through April 2027 with potential for extensionCompetitive hourly rates (aligned to market)Interview Process:Two roundsFinal round includes a technical coding assessmentBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
