Job Summary Summary: The “Process Engineer” will be based in ……., reporting to …… in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.
Responsibilities Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process, singly or with other engineering stakeholders.
Participate in daily production activities and resolve daily issues.
Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
Oversee new process equipment production and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
Troubleshoot process related issues.
Participate in cycle time and process improvements.
Evaluate and select engineered materials.
Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques to improve in‑house capabilities.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
Review processing methods.
Interface with production for new process implementation and transfer.
Assist in training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required.
Guide cost improvement/reduction programs.
Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
Typically requires at least 2 years of experience.

Compensation Pay Range (Applicable to California): $98,700.00 USD - $135,700.00 USD annually.
