A leading, non-profit regional health system in Mid-Michigan is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join a collegial, physician-led medical group. Opportunity Highlights Practice Setting: 100% outpatient practice Established hospitalist program in place no inpatient responsibilities for primary care physicians Work-Life Balance: Monday Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays required Typical schedule: 4.5 days per week (36 patient hours + 4 admin hours) Option for a 4-day work week depending on practice site Standard clinic hours: Monday Thursday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM Call Structure: Shared call with primary care colleagues (phone-only) Patient Volume: Efficient scheduling model (15/30-minute visits) with flexibility for complex patients Support & Practice Environment Dedicated Medical Assistant for each physician Additional clinic support including clerical staff, leadership, and care management (expanding) Patient-Centered Medical Home model at many sites Technology & Efficiency: EPIC EMR with strong onboarding and ongoing support AI-assisted documentation tools (DeepScribe) widely implemented Seamless care coordination with real-time notifications of hospital admissions and ER visits Clinical Scope: Flexibility to perform minor procedures based on physician preference Virtual visit capabilities across all practice sites Compensation & Benefits Two-year salary guarantee with highly competitive earning potential Productivity-based and quality incentive bonuses Sign-on bonus available Student loan repayment assistance (PSLF-eligible employer) Relocation assistance Educational stipend available during residency Comprehensive Benefits Include: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Malpractice coverage with paid premiums Retirement plans 37 days of paid time off CME allowance and professional dues support Organization Overview This established, non-profit health system is one of the largest and most comprehensive providers in Michigan, serving a broad multi-county region.
