Senior Data Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Lead the engineering, integration, and sustainment of enterprise-grade data infrastructure. Guide the full lifecycle of data infrastructure design, modernization, and operations. Build and sustain cloud data pipelines, owning feed development/testing, data validation, documentation, and stakeholder coordination. Engineer and optimize data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and system interoperability. Administer, secure, and modernize data platforms aligned to cybersecurity and compliance standards. Provide senior-level engineering guidance, technical recommendations, and executive-ready briefings.What You'll Need DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security). Proven expertise designing and sustaining enterprise-scale data infrastructure in hybrid or cloud environments. Experience developing data pipelines, storage architectures, and system-to-system integration frameworks. Strong skills in SQL-based database management, data modeling, and performance optimization. Experience administering secure data platforms aligned with cybersecurity and compliance requirements.
