Class A Driver
Class A DriverThe Driver is responsible for produce deliveries to customers while ensuring the integrity of the product is maintained and delivered in a timely manner. Key responsibilities include unloading, inspecting, and completing paperwork in order to guarantee a satisfied customer base.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform daily deliveries to customers.Drive in a safe and cautious manner, abide by laws in order to ensure no fines, tickets, or violations are incurred.Follow call-in procedures during and throughout route duration.Accurately log information into Teletrac system (including Driver Logs and Pre/Post Trip Inspection).Ensure loads and equipment are secured prior to leaving dock and customer location.Properly count/verify delivered merchandise to ensure it matches the customers BOL.Properly complete assigned paperwork including DVIR's, trip log sheets, credit return forms, and obtain signatures from customers when necessary.Follow procedure when BOL discrepancies occur. Communicate to all necessary parties.Follow procedure when delivering COD/ special cash deliveries.Maintain a clean work area.
