It is our privilege to employ Healthcare Heroes who serve our Military Heroes, embodying our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare with dignity, compassion, and pride.Position OverviewWe are actively seeking a skilled Pediatric Physician to enhance our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing services for Military Service Members and their families at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms, CA.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive physician services as authorized by the Medical Treatment Facility.Provide preventive care, health maintenance, and annual physical examinations, including patient education and counseling.Diagnose, treat, and prescribe within the scope of your training and privileges.Order diagnostic tests and make necessary referrals.Mentor and educate medical staff through in-service training and educational lectures, adhering to clinical protocols and standards.Required SkillsDoctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical school in the U.S. or Canada.Clinical competency within the past two years in Pediatrics, with a minimum of 32 hours of patient treatment within the specialty in the last 24 months.Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).An active, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice as a Pediatrician.Board Certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).Documentation of Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities required within one month of completion of CME-accredited events.QualificationsSuccessful completion of an accredited internship and residency program in Pediatrics.Compensation And BenefitsEmployment Status: Full-time Independent ContractorCompensation: \(175.00 - \)180.00 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour shifts (including a 30-minute uncompensated meal break), between 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM.Career Growth OpportunitiesAt Matrix Providers, we value continuous professional development and encourage our staff to pursue mentorship and in-service training to enhance their skills and advance in their careers.Company Culture And ValuesWe are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment that prioritizes teamwork and a shared dedication to serving the military community with respect and excellence.Matrix Providers is an equal-opportunity employer.
