This physician will provide 24-hour call coverage, managing a NICU and all infants admitted to the newborn nursery, including leading daily rounds and comprehensive patient management.
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead daily rounds and provide comprehensive management of NICU patients, including respiratory, nutritional, hematologic, and infectious conditions
Review laboratory results and collaborate closely with families on care plans
Participate in the development and ongoing maintenance of NICU policies and procedures
Respond to emergencies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery and attend high-risk deliveries
Oversee a NICU and all infants admitted to the newborn nursery
