Caregiver/Resident Aides Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Job Description Description:Parc Center for Disabilities is seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers / Resident Aides to support adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This part-time morning role is ideal for individuals who enjoy meaningful work and want a consistent early-day schedule.Schedule:Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PMMonday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AMTuesday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AMAt Parc, we are committed to helping individuals live with dignity, independence, and respect. Morning staff play a key role in helping residents start their day safely, comfortably, and confidently.Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide direct care and supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals)Support individuals in following their active treatment plansEncourage positive engagement and independence during morning routinesComplete required documentation accurately and on timeCommunicate effectively with team members during shift transitionsMaintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environmentRequirements:Provide direct care and supervision, including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals)Support individuals in following their active treatment plansEncourage positive engagement and independence during morning routinesComplete required documentation accurately and on timeCommunicate effectively with team members during shift transitionsMaintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not requiredAbility to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and approved behavioral intervention certifications (training provided)Ability to lift up to 50 poundsStrong teamwork, communication, and organizational skillsOther RequirementsParc Center for Disabilities is a drug-free workplaceMust successfully pass a Level II background checkThis position requires screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
