Oracle Exadata / Python DeveloperGenesis10 is currently seeking an Oracle Exadata / Python Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role will involve the development, maintenance, and support of Oracle Exadata, Python, and Hadoop-based applications within a Global Markets technology environment. The enterprise-wide platform hosts large volumes of trade positions and reference data to support critical business functions including credit risk, margin, regulatory compliance, client valuations, treasury, and finance.Responsibilities:Contribute to design discussions with the development teamConform to team processes, including test-driven development and source code control practicesInteract directly with users when troubleshooting issues with the production systemWork closely with the lead developer and independently under your own initiativeRequirements:Minimum 8+ years of experience (10+ preferred), including at least 5 years in an Oracle Exadata development with Python role within a financial institutionStrong PL/SQL coding and Oracle performance analysis skillsMandatory API development experience with PythonWorking experience in a big data platform like HadoopStrong written and verbal communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsDeep expertise in SDLC process adherenceExperience using project management and project reporting toolsDesired Skills:Solid understanding of investment banking domain knowledgeFamiliarity with AI and modern data platformsProven experience working with cross-functional, global teams in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of the trade lifecycle, risk management processes, and front-to-back office flowsExperience delivering complex regulatory-driven projectsDemonstrated competencies in business acumen, innovation, and creative problem solvingPay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
