Role: Core Java DeveloperLocation: New York (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite in a week)Duration: FulltimeJob Description:The team supports some of the time critical and revenue generating applications for investment banking business which is rapidly renovated and expanded while still being nimble & agile to cater various business needs. The ideal candidate will have to work closely with Product Owner, Development & QA engineers to deliver timely and quality deliveries. The candidate should be adaptive to a continuous changing and fast paced environment, be able to successfully multi-task, and thrive in a dynamic, fully engaged developer role.Skills Desired:• Experience of agile and scrum methodologies• Hands-on developer with strong database skills• Core Java developer experience• Integration technologies - MQ / Xml / SOAP / JSON• Proficiency in Database Management Systems (SQL Server / Mongo) and designing / querying• Experience in unit testing, integration testing• CI / CD - Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, GIT• Sound understanding of Enterprise Architecture Patterns, Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming• Exposure to working in a global delivery team• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills• (Optional) Prior experience in investment banking.
