Ultrasound Tech Location: Peoria, IL Agency: Patterns LLC Pay: $39 to $51 per hour Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required: General / OB / Gyn / Vascular Ultrasounds. Note: No procedures for travel techs. 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: GE-9, GE-10, PARKS Unetix EPIC, McKesson (computerized charting and medication systems) 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience: Optimal: 5 years of experience. May consider 3–4 years if experience is from another Level 1 trauma center. Will review new grads on a case by case basis. 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: ARDMS: RVT, RDMS (AB), (OB/GYN), (PS) for pediatric techs. ARRT: RT(S), RT (VS) CCI: RVS Note: RVT, RT(VS), or CCI (RVS) required for off-shift and outpatient site postings. 5. Shift or schedule requirements: No call required. Some postings may require techs to work alone (especially at outpatient sites and 3rd shift). Weekends required for certain postings. 6. Floating to other units/departments: Some postings will float to outpatient sites: CFH 91, Glen Park, Cancer Institute, Morton. 7. Bed size/number of rooms: Approximately 640-bed hospital. 8. Nurse to patient ratio: (Nursing only – not specified) 9. Dress Code: No scrub requirements. 10. Training and orientation: Patient population varies depending on posting. Setting may include inpatient rehab, outpatient, or acute.
