Litigation Attorney - Family Law (Women-Led Firm)

At our firm, a litigator gets to be a litigator. You argue contested hearings, lead mediations, take depositions, and try cases. Your team handles drafting, consultations, and intake. A paralegal whose full-time job is trial prep backs you up in court. When you walk into a hearing, you walk in ready. Our team is mission-driven and structured differently than most firms. “Attorneys who do it all” is a formula for burnout. The old law firm playbook wasn’t written with modern attorneys - or the women they represent - in mind, so we rewrote it. We've built a division of labor so that every role does what it's best at — and we're looking for a litigation attorney to join us in that model.What you'll do• Argue contested hearings, temporary orders, and trials• Lead mediations and adversarial negotiations• Take depositions and prepare witnesses• Review and revise motions and responses drafted by your paralegal• Guide clients through testimony and court appearances with trauma-informed careWhat you won't do• Draft premarital agreements, modifications, or final decrees• Run initial consultations or intake calls• Build your own exhibit binders or trial notebooksCompensation and benefits• Base salary: $160,000–$200,000 depending on experience• Performance bonus on collected revenue above target• 10% origination on cases you bring• Guaranteed minimum bonus in Year 1• Health, dental, vision, life, HSA• 401(k) with 3% match after one year• PTO, WFH flexibility• Paid bar dues, CLE, firm retreatsWhat we look for• Active Texas Bar OR documented reciprocity in progress• 3+ years family law litigation OR 5+ years civil litigation with family pivot• Courtroom experience — contested hearings and/or trials• Strong cognitive and emotional fluency• Someone who has opinions, tells the truth, and does great workHow to applyApply through LinkedIn or send your resume and a one-paragraph note on why this role interests you to .Our process: resume review → aptitude and personality assessment → drafting exercise → two-round interview → offer.
