Network Architect

Emergent Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a mission-focused program supporting a key government customer. POS- 053Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement complex network architectures across enterprise and cloud environments.Configure and manage routing and switching protocols including EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, STP, LACP, and VTP.Deploy and maintain MPLS networks and Software-Defined Networking (SD-WAN) solutions.Collaborate with technical teams to develop and present network design documents and implementation plans.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across projects.Automate network operations and provisioning using modern scripting and automation tools.Ensure designs meet performance, security, and scalability requirements in hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud).Required Education & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree (preferred)Minimum of 11 years of relevant professional experience in network engineeringDeep understanding of:Network architecture, routing, and switching technologiesCloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Network automation practicesSoftware-defined networking (SD-WAN)Ability to independently learn and implement emerging technologiesStrong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and design briefingsExperience creating and delivering technical documentation, including network designs and implementation plansPreferred QualificationsProven track record in large-scale network design and optimizationExperience supporting enterprise-grade environments or government infrastructureComfortable resolving complex network issues under pressureCertifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) a plusDemonstrated ability to continuously learn and apply new technologiesWhy Join Us?Contribute to mission-critical national security programsCollaborate with a high-performing, technically elite teamWork on modern infrastructure with advanced automation and cloud integrationVeteran-owned company with strong values and a people-first culture J-18808-Ljbffr
