Project Scheduler / Coordinator
In this role, you’ll take ownership of multi‑week planning and scheduling, helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time. You’ll collaborate closely with construction crews, designers, and internal teams—leading conversations, aligning priorities, and keeping work moving forward.This is a great fit for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex work, leading discussions, and working cross-functionally to solve problems.What You’ll DoScheduling & PlanningBuild and manage a multi-week, rolling schedule to ensure work is completed on time and within performance expectationsStrategically prioritize work and assign resources based on demand, urgency, and business needsMaintain a clear, holistic view of all work in progress to proactively identify and address capacity or scheduling challengesPlan region- or function-wide schedules considering:Work types and prioritiesResource availabilityPermitting requirementsCustomer expectations and operational guidelinesCoordination & ExecutionCoordinate schedules across construction teams, designers, and stakeholdersLead recurring meetings (weekly or bi-weekly) to review schedules, align teams, and drive accountabilityCommunicate schedule updates, risks, and changes clearly to all stakeholdersEnsure crews have the work, materials, and direction needed to stay productiveResource & Performance ManagementManage personnel, equipment, and material availability across a multi-week timelineReallocate resources as needed across regions to support priorities and timelinesOptimize resource selection to balance cost, safety, quality, and schedule adherenceAnalyze scheduling performance and forecast future resource needsFacilitate monthly performance or metrics review meetingsTools & ReportingCreate and maintain tracking tools and reports (heavy use of spreadsheets/Excel)Work within client systems and tools to manage scheduling and reportingWhat Success Looks Like In This RoleYou take full ownership of your schedule and keep work moving forwardYou’re comfortable leading conversations and coordinating across teamsYou can balance multiple priorities while staying organized and proactiveYou help teams stay aligned, informed, and accountableRequired QualificationsAssociate’s degree or equivalent experience3–5+ years of experience in:Construction, design, maintenance, or operationsOR project/scheduling-related rolesExperience with scheduling (construction, project, or material scheduling) [New Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel or spreadsheet toolsAbility to retrieve, analyze, and work with data from reporting toolsStrong communication skills, including the ability to:Lead meetingsCollaborate across teamsClearly communicate plans and updatesHighly organized and able to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related fieldUtility scheduling or planning experienceExperience with:SAP (highly preferred)Primavera P6 (nice to have)CRM or similar systems Work EnvironmentOn-site requirement: 4 days per week working at the client locationRemote flexibility: Typically remote on FridaysThis role requires regular in-person collaboration to support meetings and coordination with field teamsWho You AreConfident and comfortable leading discussions across mixed audiences—not afraid to speak upOrganized, proactive, and detail-orientedA strong communicator who builds relationships and keeps teams alignedSomeone who takes accountability for outcomes, not just tasksThe base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $74,000 annually. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors, such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.
