Job TypeTemporary, InternshipDescriptionPali Wine Co. is looking to add a Harvest Intern to our fantastic team at the winery. This position is Seasonal and will report to the Associate Winemaker.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToMaintaining a clean workspace, including sanitizing equipmentRacking, blending, filling barrels, etc.Transporting cased goods and barrels via a forkliftPerform required tasks during harvest including processing, inoculations, additions, quality control, sample collecting, etc.Some laboratory analyses as neededFollowing safety procedures and protocolsOther duties as may be neededRequirementsA committed and team player work ethicA positive and winning attitudeAbility to work outdoors and indoors with varying temperature situationsAbility to climb, bend, stand and sit for prolonged lengths of timeAbility to lift up to 50lbsWillingness to work on elevated surfaces and occasionally on wet surfacesConsistent awareness of moving forklifts and winery equipmentAbility to work long and flexible hours through the bottling season and busy harvestPrevious production experience in cellar and barrel operations (preferred)Good oral and written communication skillsAbility to lawfully work without sponsorshipAbility to multi-task and be organizedBenefitsOpportunities for career progression and developmentFriendly and dynamic work environmentEmployee discount programAbout Pali Wine CompanyPali Wine Co. brings the winery experience to your neighborhood.
