Develop APIs supporting specialty referral decisioning workflows, including specialty recommendation, provider/specialist matching, and notifications. Design and optimize database schemas, indexes, and queries using PostgreSQL. Implement complex business rules and decision-logic engines within backend services. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using tools such as GitHub Actions and GitOps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate healthcare workflows and business requirements into reliable backend solutions.What You'll Need 4+ years of professional Node.js and Express experience. Strong understanding of RESTful API design, API versioning, and JSON schema validation. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization. Experience with Prisma, PgAdmin, and Liquibase.
