Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionThe Team Lead supports the operations, promotes adherence to the production system, support corrective actions and continuous improvement daily.Effectively communicates company expectations and priorities to all team members.Ensures work is performed in a safe efficient manner to meet daily goals.Responsible for directing work and recommending actions in the area of employee activitiesFacilitate the continuous quality improvement of production operations by ensuring products are manufactured according to customer specification and adequate resources are available.Responsible for the training of employees in machining operations and safety.Manage the introduction and training of new/transferred employees into the work area.Conduct retraining as necessary or when requested.Responsible for maintaining cell 5s Housekeeping standard.Perform 5s Housekeeping, safety audits, LPA audits, Continuous Improvements.Assist the shift supervisor with department production reporting.Follow the Safety, Health, and Environmental Program as reflected in the SHE Policy StatementAdhere to the Quality Management System (QMS) and the Quality PolicyMaterial Handling for all GM RepackMonitor Daily Pack Schedule to ensure daily demands are metPack Service Parts for FedEx Shipment as neededAssist with PLEX / tag issues as they ariseOther duties as assignedRequirementsDemonstrate the ability to effectively interact with Machining Operators, Engineers, and Supervision.Strong team coaching skillsAbility to motivate employeesKnowledge of computer programs, spreadsheets and database applicationsExperience using PLEX system
