In this role, youll play a key part in ensuring high-quality fabricated components by inspecting parts, verifying specifications, and supporting ISO 9001 quality processes. If you enjoy hands-on inspection work, using precision measuring tools, and working in a production environment with strong quality standards, this could be a great fit.What Youll Do as a Fabrication Quality Inspector:Inspect fabricated components to ensure compliance with blueprints, engineering specifications, and quality standardsPerform first article, first piece, and in-process inspectionsUse variable and attribute measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerancesComplete inspection records, ISIR documentation, and quality paperworkSupport SPC data collection, gage R&R, and process capability studiesAudit outgoing inspections and assist with specification auditsAssist with ISO 9001 processes, procedures, and continuous improvement effortsWhat You Need to Bring to the Fabrication Quality Inspector Role:Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 12-hour shiftsAbility to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs frequentlyStrong understanding of ISO 9001 quality processes and proceduresExperience using measuring tools and inspection equipmentMath skills including fractions, decimals, and metric/English conversionsAbility to operate an overhead hoist or crane for part movementComfortable working around moving machinery and in a manufacturing environmentWillingness to work overtime during busy production periodsAbility to train and support new inspectors as neededWhy Youll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
