The role involves working with clients to support their relational, emotional, and sexual well-being. Responsibilities include conducting individual, couple, and group therapy sessions, assisting in client assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing psychoeducational resources. The position operates in-person, requiring work in Harrisburg, PA, with some flexibility for some telehealth clients based on the client preference. Interns will also have opportunities to participate in professional training and receive supervision for licensure or academic requirements.QualificationsBackground in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy, or related fields with foundational knowledge of therapeutic practicesExperience or interest in Sex and Relationship Therapy and Family Therapy to support diverse client relationshipsTraining in or willingness to develop skills related to sex therapy and psychoeducationStrong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skillsCurrently pursuing an MSW or holding an Associate License as part of a pathway toward clinical licensureAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environmentCommitment to inclusivity and working with diverse populations
