We are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the community by empowering individuals to lead fulfilling and balanced lives.Role DescriptionThis is a hybrid role for a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licenser Graduated Progessional Counselor at Singular Psychotherapy Center of DC, located in Washington, DC. The Licensed Professional Counselor will provide individual and group therapy, assess clients’ mental health needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, providing crisis intervention when needed, and participating in professional development to ensure best practices in client care.QualificationsProficiency in conducting individual, couple, family and group therapy sessions with strong active listening and empathy skillsExpertise in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and diagnostic assessmentStrong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaborationFamiliarity with ethical and legal standards in clinical practice and experience managing confidential client informationMaster’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field, with active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, preferred. LGPC can be considered if demonstrates solid skills) in Washington, DCAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing a diverse caseloadPrior experience in mental health settings, including work with culturally diverse populations, is preferredSpanish or any other language is a plus.
