REQUIREMENT Title: SRE/Prod Support .Net Duration: Full time Location: Remote Annual Salary - 120k We are looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to bridge the gap between Application Support, Cloud Operations, and Healthcare Compliance. You will not just "keep the lights on" for our Claims and Benefits systems; you will optimize and improve them using Azure automation, AI, and DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate should lead from the front, manage the hybrid team, customer conversation and pivot into DevOps/SRE, possess deep healthcare domain knowledge, and thrives in highly regulated environments. Core Responsibilities 1. Advanced Application Support (The "Dev" Skillset)Tier 3/4 Code-Level Troubleshooting: Act as the escalation point for complex production issues when things go wrong. You must be able to read, debug, and provide solutions for C# .NET and ASP.NET applications.Database Performance Engineering: Ownership of issues for the SQL Server environment from a support perspective. This includes diagnosing deadlocks, optimizing slow-running claims queries, and ensuring data integrity across provider networks.Integration Support: Maintain and troubleshoot REST/SOAP APIs and web services that connect our internal systems with external healthcare partners.Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Move beyond "restarting services." You will identify the underlying code or data flaws and work with the development team to implement permanent code-level resolutions. 2. DevOps, Cloud & Automation (The "Ops" Skillset)Intelligent Automation: Build automated workflows using Azure Power Automate, and Logic Apps to automate repetitive support tickets and business process validations.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform or Bicep to ensure support environments are consistent with production, reducing "configuration drift" issues.Observability & AI: Implement advanced monitoring in Azure AI Foundry to move from reactive alerts to predictive anomaly detection.Release Governance: Oversee CI/CD pipelines to ensure support fixes are deployed safely and compliant with our highly regulated SDLC. 3. Healthcare Domain & Compliance (The "Context")Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all support activities, data patches, and access requests strictly adhere to HIPAA and PHI security standards.Domain-Driven Support: Utilize deep knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Insurance terms to validate that application behavior aligns with healthcare business rules (e.g., Claims 837/835 workflows).Stakeholder Management: Lead technical communications during Major Incidents (MIM), translating complex technical outages into clear business impact updates for internal and external partners. Technical RequirementsThe Developer Foundation: 5+ years of experience in an Application Support or Dev role with heavy exposure to C#, Java, Spring Boot, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. You must be comfortable navigating a large codebase.The Cloud/DevOps Edge: Proficiency in Azure Services, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.The Automation Toolbelt: Hands-on experience with Azure Power Automate (or similar RPA tools) and Azure AI Foundry to drive efficiency.The Healthcare Lens: Proven experience in Healthcare Management Systems (Claims processing, Provider management, or Benefits).
