Registered Nurse

Job Summary:The Registered Nurse will function as a Critical Care Float Pool RN, providing skilled nursing care across Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, and Intensive Care Unit settings. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role requires comfort and adaptability in floating between different units based on patient needs.Location:Fortuna, California, United StatesResponsibilities:- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in Medical/Surgical, ED, and ICU settings.- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.- Develop and implement patient care plans.- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.- Document patient information accurately and timely.- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.- Respond to patient needs and emergencies.Required Skills & Certifications:- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.- Minimum 1 year of experience.- Clinical Assessment, Medication Administration, and Treatment Planning skills.- Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration skills.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills & Certifications:- CA state license.- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.Special Considerations:- Must be comfortable floating between MS, ED, and ICU units.Scheduling:- Schedule includes 2 weekend days off out of every 4 weekends (weekend = 2 consecutive days Fri-Sun).
