Software Developer I, II

As a software developer at G2, you'll dive into exciting projects, harnessing your skills to solve complex challenges and support national defense. Responsibilities: Perform software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large scale software systems. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development. Experience in Agile Software Engineering Processes and Life Cycle. Experience working within automated development/build environments leveraging tools such as Git/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, etc. Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting using effective communication and writing skills. This position requires an individual to be a US citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a DoD clearance. Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of software programming experience in Java and JavaScript libraries/frameworks for full stack web application development. Experience with software development for relational databases such as H2 DB. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at the assigned client facilities. Location: This is a full-time, on-site position based in San Diego, CA, where you’ll work side by side with the team and our clients to achieve mission success.
