Electronics Assembler

About the Role We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Assembler to contribute to the production of vital components for advanced communication systems. In this role, you will assemble intricate parts, ensuring precision and quality in every connection. Your expertise in soldering and surface mount techniques will be crucial to our success. Responsibilities Populate PCBs with components like transistors, resistors, and integrated circuits, ensuring correct placement and orientation. Precisely solder components and wires, creating robust and reliable connections. Interpret technical documents including blueprints, diagrams, and BOMs to guide the assembly process. Employ hand tools and light power tools to assemble and adjust components as needed. Collaborate with the Quality department to uphold product standards and identify areas for improvement. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles and safety guidelines. Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated electro-mechanical assembly experience. Proficiency in basic soldering techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical documents. Preferred Skills Experience in electronic manufacturing. Advanced electronic component-level soldering skills for PCB assembly. Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, or IPC-A-620 standards.
