Part-time Junior Software Lab Technician

This is a hands-on position. This is NOT a remote position.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an entry level Part-time Junior Software Lab Technician. (15 – 20 hours per week). The successful candidate will contribute to the setup, testing and maintenance of computer test benches in our software solutions test and development labs. All work perform must comply with ISO 9001/ISO 13485 standards.
BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow instructions to set up computer lab equipment for software development and testing.
Document set-up for lab equipment consistency and performance.
Learn and implement test scripts.
Perform lab equipment tear down and inspection for next set-up.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Continuously monitor labs to identify areas for improvement.
Maintain electronic records per established ISO procedures.
Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma, or GED
0 to 2 years’ experience in learning research or testing software.
Associate degree is a plus.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must be capable of following detailed procedures and instructions, as well as following test procedures to perform V&V testing of software and hardware modules.
Willingness and demonstrated ability to self-learn.
Team player with attention to detail exhibiting strong organizational skills for good documentation, communication, and problem solving.
Must have a cooperative attitude and be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability, and professional development.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and work extended hours (as needed).
Rudimentary hands-on experience/working knowledge with any Open-Source programming language tools (Ex: Python, C++, R, Java, etc.) is a plus.

SALARY RANGE:
Hourly: $18 - $20
Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
