The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and leading the product and merchandising strategy, ensuring it aligns with brand goals and financial targets. Innovation, creativity, and the ability to anticipate market trends are key, as is the capacity to build and mentor a high-performing global team. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in design and/or merchandising, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within the apparel or sporting goods industry. A deep understanding of the swim, surf, or activewear markets, including expertise in materials, technology, and consumer behavior, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in managing large, multi-disciplinary teams, driving product strategy on a global scale, and a strong commercial acumen. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills are a must, as is a passion for design, innovation, and creating products that inspire confidence and performance.
