Auto Welder

Job Summary: The Auto Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on automotive components, assemblies, and structures. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, operating welding equipment, and ensuring that all welds meet industry and company standards for strength, precision, and appearance. The Auto Welder works closely with production teams, mechanics, and engineers to repair, assemble, or modify vehicle parts and frames in accordance with safety and quality specifications. Attention to detail, technical skill, and a strong commitment to workplace safety are essential for success in this position. Job Duties: Set up, program, and operate auto welding equipment to perform high-quality welds. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications. Inspect materials and welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Adhere to safety protocols and workplace best practices to prevent hazards. Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and team members to ensure precision and efficiency. Perform quality control checks and documentation of welding work. Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues. Help develop designs for welding projects Use a variety of tools and equipment Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management Qualifications: Read basic measuring devices. Cut and form tubing and other fittings. Proficiency in auto welding processes, techniques, and equipment operation. Strong understanding of metallurgy, materials science, and welding symbols. Ability to work in high-precision environments and follow strict tolerances. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Proficient in math - preferred. Willingness to learn - required. Work in a fast pace environment. Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. May involve exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Pay Rate: $23/hr - $25/hr
