REGISTERED NURSE (RN):Nights (12-hour shifts)

Responsibilities This opportunity is full-time, offers full benefits, and a convenient nightshift (6:30pm-7:00am) schedule and rotates every other weekend and holiday Part-Time and PRN available: some benefits and sign-on bonus are excluded! There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. This position also qualifies for up to a $20,000.00 sign-on bonus! Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. Website: Role/Responsibilities: Registered Nurses will work on our Adolescent or Adult Mental Health Units and Substance Use Disorder Unit * The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center.The Registered Nurse prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing careThe Registered Nurse completes nursing assessments and documents care and progress of the patient each shiftThe Registered Nurse facilitates medication administration activities in accordance with safe medication practices , including patient educationThe Registered Nurse responds to all crisis/emergency events to direct staff and ensure patient safetyAttends Treatment Team to aid in the development of patient care plansOversees and directs the mental health technicians in patient care activitiesThe Registered Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit under the direction of the Nurse Manager or DON.The Registered Nurse may also assume Charge Nurse Responsibilities as required.
