Now it's your turn.Learn more about us at learn4life.orgHow You Will Make an ImpactThe Student Relations Manager will manage school facilities in conjunction with the Site Administrator and Regional Student Relations Manager for a multi-school campus network. This Position is responsible for the direction of the Compliance Program including student data compilation and analysis, and be responsive for such data, such as student attendance. Create a positive environment that supports innovation, teamwork and successful school outcomes.Responsibilities/Duties:Plan, organize, manage and direct all aspects of the Compliance Program; ensure procedures are in accordance with federal and State educational regulation, School Board policiesDirect workflow for the Student Relations department to ensure productivity, peak performanceEnsure Student ADA is claimed within company deadlinesSupervise Student Relations Department personnel and provide support to Credentialed PersonnelCollect and analyze data, prepare reports and make presentations as requested in support of Student Relations department goalsOversee new student orientations and ensure adherence to school proceduresProvide training and technical assistance on the Compliance Program to personnel; ensure continuous training when necessaryConduct interviews and collaborate with the Human Resources Department on new hire recommendations and orientations; Adhere to Recruiting & Hiring Guide policy and proceduresCreates and distributes weekly work schedulesReviews and submits campus supply orders to the Principal or designeeResponsible for safety and site maintenance; Collaborate with the Facilities UnitComplete and conduct annual employee performance evaluations; Collaborate with the Regional Student Relations Managers and Principal(s) on employee performance reviewsProvide data reports to Site Administration and department managementRecommend changes or updates to the Compliance Program or forms to Student Relations department managementWork with vendors for updates, enhancements or changes to the Student Information databasePrepare and participate in school auditsBe an active and positive contributor to the school; participate in graduation & school eventsPerforms other duties and special projects as assignedAdherence to attendance policiesAdministrative duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to timeSupervisory Responsibilities:Manage, coordinate, supervise, coach, and direct the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of team members and oversee their daily activitiesQualificationsSpecific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, etc:Knowledge of California Education Code as it relates to student attendanceData analysis & reportingRecords managementPersonnel Management principles & practices (including hiring, supervising, training, employee performance)Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members to affect the best outcomes for studentsAbility to work with limited supervisionAbility to meet multiple competing deadlines and schedulesExcellent oral and written communication skillsMinimum Qualifications:Completion of high school diploma or GED; college coursework/degree preferred3 years of related business duties; highly desired public education work experienceExperience using student information databasesProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email, Powerpoint)Travel: Ability to travel in performance of job duties with overnight stayPhysical Requirements:Mental Demands: high workflow management, high project coordinationFinger Dexterity: using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers togetherTalking: especially where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quicklyAverage Hearing: able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary informationAverage Visual Abilities: ordinary acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate machineryPhysical Strength: sedentary work.
