The following noninstructional vacancy is listed in Human Resources for the 2026-2027 school year.WILDLIGHT ELEMENTARY SCHOOLSecretary / Bookkeeper (11 months/7 hours daily)Range of Pay: $29,227.52 - $32,316.48(Additional compensation from the Millage initiative will be awarded annually. For the 2026-2027 school year, the amount to be determined by NESPA bargaining and ratification and will be prorated from July 1, 2026. The amount for the 2025-2026 school year was $7,002.) QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Experience in clerical and / or bookkeeping functions desired. Note: Consideration will be given for prior experience, at a comparable level, in our school district. Performance Responsibilities(01) Provide secretarial services to the principal, arrange appointments, take calls, answer inquiries and compose routine correspondence independently.(02) Perform the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy, productive and smoothly-run office.(03) Maintain school records as required.(04) Prepare payroll reports for instructional, non-instructional and administrative personnel as required.(05) Prepare and type a variety of records, reports, newsletters and printed programs. Maintain student and employee records as required.(07) Perform bookkeeping functions of internal accounts, school budget, accounts payable and petty cash.(08) Type and process purchase orders and requisitions.(09) Order and maintain supplies as needed. Serve as a notary for students, parents, teachers and administrators as required. Obtain substitute employees as required.(12) Use effective, positive interpersonal communication skills.
