You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community.Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of CBRN Mission Systems EngineerThe successful candidate will provide the following support to Capability Program Executive (CPE) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) Integrated Early Warning (IEW): Review, analyze, and provide comment on design packages for emergency management response and warning equipment installation at military bases, ensuring CBRNE hardware/software integration compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DoD architecture standards. Work in conjunction with project teams to implement defined technical activities, including secure system configurations, encryption protocols, and zero-trust principles during transition or transformation activities for new applications. Evaluate and resolve hardware and software vulnerabilities and issues at project status meetings, serving as the Installation Protection Integration Platform subject matter expert providing technical guidance on networked and standalone CBRNE hardware and software systems while ensuring adherence to Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Coordinate Installation Protection Integration Platform hardware and software certification and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes with individual software vendors, including the completion and submittal of necessary compliance and eMASS documentation. Minimum Qualifications Of CBRN Mission Systems EngineerBachelor's Degree in Computer Related Technical Field of Study and 8+ years of relevant experience. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; is you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.Desired ExperienceExperience in development, planning, managing, and implementation of networked data transmission and architectures, with a strong focus on network defense, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure data routing.Familiarity with DoD 8140 / 8570 certification requirements (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP) and network vulnerability scanning (e.g., ACAS).Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., GenAI, AskSage, MS Copilot)Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for technical documentation and mission-critical communications.About UsSURVICE Engineering is a nationally recognized, single-source engineering service provider for Government and Industry organizations involved in all phases of the systems engineering process.
