Opportunity: RN - ICUJob Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • Whole House Float position covering ICU, PCU, and MS units • Must be comfortable working all three specialties with ratios of at least 1:5 • Staffing re-evaluated every 4 hours with potential to float 2-3 times per shift • ICU average ratio: 2:1, PCU average ratio: 5:1, MS average ratio: 6:1 (may flex up to 7:1) • Weekend requirement: EOW or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block • Must work one holiday per 13-week contract • EPIC charting experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • 2+ years ICU experience from Large L1/L2 facility required • Must be skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, PICC line management, central line care/management, arterial line management, and blood product administration • Experience with trach management, non-invasive airway support, ventilator management, and chest tubes required • Proficient in cardiac monitoring, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips • 24-hour orientation provided • Accept first-time travelers and locals with distance restrictions • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week periodFacility: This is a 703-bed acute care teaching hospital serving as a flagship medical facility in the region.
