Summary of the Role:
The Machine Operator will operate and monitor production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to keep up with production demands, and a focus on producing quality products safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor production machinery.
* Set up and make basic adjustments to equipment as needed.
* Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
* Pack and organize finished products according to production requirements.
* Monitor machines for jams, malfunctions, or other production issues.
* Report equipment or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
* Move and handle materials throughout the production area.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
* Follow all machine safety and production procedures.
* Assist with additional production duties as needed.
Required Skills:
* Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
* Ability to learn machine setup and basic adjustments.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
* Ability to repeatedly lift and handle materials weighing 50 lbs or more.
* Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
* Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
* Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Compensation:
$18.00 per hour
