Job DescriptionMission Community Hospital, a 145-bed acute care facility located in the San Fernando Valley, is currently searching for 2 Per-diem Respiratory Therapist, Day/Night Shift.Job SummaryThe Respiratory Therapist will assess and Implement plans of care for respiratory patients. Theyperform direct care activities required to provide and maintain individualized quality patient care. Specific areas of responsibility include: Administration of respiratory medications, performance of treatments, provision of patient education, maintenance of a record of care. Actively participates inperformance improvement programs with-in the department. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible tothe Director of Respiratory Therapy and under medical supervision of the Medical Director of Respiratory Care Services.Qualifications: Gener General al Job Requirements, Certifications & KnowledgeRequirements:4 Current CRT or RRT4 Current RCP License from State of California.4 EKG Certificate must be obtained within 60 daysof hire4 BCLS4 PALS Certificate must be obtained within 30 daysof hire4 ACLS Certificate must be obtained within 30 daysof hire4 MAB Certification must be obtained within 60days of hire4 Current Los Angeles Fire Card must be obtained
