Student - Graphic Designer SCET Marketing

Utah Valley University is looking for a graphic designer to work with the Smith College of Engineering and Technology Marketing Team. This position is meant for the well-organized, creative problem-solver who works to deliver collateral for memorable and inspiring experiences for UVU students.Specifically, this position will:* Create graphically designed content for print and digital assets, including the UVU website.* Be instrumental in creative projects for the department with the support of an in-house creative team.* Develop visual communication standards and style guides for marketing materials across the Student Affairs division.* Foster key relationships with vendors, executive-level staff, university marketing, university printing, and the mail room to oversee the production and distribution of marketing materials.* Use marketing and design to achieve the department's objectives.* Assist in digital signage distribution and management.* Must be a current UVU student.* Knowledge of graphic design and the creative process for both printed and online materials.* Knowledge of print and product materials and working with vendors.* Highly organized with baseline project management skills.* Strong interpersonal communication and decision-making skills.* Skilled in a broad range of graphic design computer applications, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and XD.* Ability to be flexible with creative design.* Ability to manage a challenging workload with multiple timelines.* Ability to organize and execute activities for current student.
