Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Freeport, Illinois.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: ICU - Intensive Care UnitDiscipline: RNStart Date: 05/25/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelUnit Notes:Department: ICU | RN*Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS*IL license required to submit- # Beds: 8 ICU.- Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 some patients are lower acuity.- Required Certifications: BLS ACLS, NIHSS- Common diagnoses: Sepsis, General Medical, General Surgical, Stroke (TNK),DKA, PNA, ETOH withdrawal. Post cath recovery- radial/femoral sites. No CVOR.No CRRT, abdominal surgical. In the rare case there is a balloon pump, core staffwould take. ICU RNs run codes in the facility. In the event of a code- the otherICU nurses cover. They also have tele attached to the unit and those nurses canassist in backing up while the code nurse is out.
